FAQ

Common questions about the Northline Odds platform, eligibility, account flow, odds board, responsible gaming information, and legal-page status.

What Is Northline Odds?

Northline Odds is an Alberta-only sports betting interface with sports navigation, odds tables, a bet slip, account modals, and legal/support pages.

Bets become available after account and email confirmation.

What Is The Domain?

The domain displayed throughout the platform is northlineodds.com.

Any previous platform references to other domains should be treated as replaced.

Can I Place Real Bets?

No. Bets are not actually available yet. The odds board and bet slip are interactive UI elements only.

Clicking Place Bet opens registration if the user is not registered. After registration, the platform asks the user to confirm email and states that bets will be available later.

Can I Deposit Or Withdraw Money?

No. This platform does not process deposits, withdrawals, payment cards, balances, cash-outs, refunds, or bonus credits.

Payment badges are visual placeholders and do not indicate active payment processing.

Who Is Eligible?

The intended audience is Alberta residents who are 18 or older.

The registration form validates date of birth and requires Alberta as the province. A full platform would need stronger identity, age, and geolocation verification.

Why Must I Confirm Email?

The platform uses email confirmation as a placeholder account status. Successful registration replaces the form with a confirmation message.

Future full account activation would require a complete verification and compliance flow.

Are The Odds Real?

No. The odds are realistic sample data created for interface testing.

Teams, market values, dates, payouts, boosts, and promotions are illustrative and should not be used for real betting decisions.

Why Do Home, Live, And Sports Show The Same Board?

Home, Live, and Sports intentionally open the same sportsbook board experience. Live switches the tab context to Live, while Home and Sports keep the primary odds board visible.

This keeps the first screen focused on the sportsbook instead of a marketing landing page.

Do Left Menu Links Work?

Yes. Quick Links and All Sports items now update the sportsbook tab, filter the odds board when matching data exists, and navigate back to the sportsbook page.

Sports with no sample events display a clear empty-state message so the click still has a visible result.

What Are Odds Formats?

The header includes Decimal, Fractional, and American odds format options as a UI control.

The current platform displays sample odds in decimal format. Full conversion logic can be added later.

What Is CCDR?

CCDR means Customer Care and Dispute Resolution. It describes how users can ask for help, submit complaints, and request review of account or sportsbook issues.

The CCDR page is platform content and requires compliance review before full launch.

Where Can I Get Help For Gambling Concerns?

If you or someone you know are having gambling issues, the Alberta Health Services Addictions Help Line is there for you. Call 1-866-332-2322 and connect with someone.

The Responsible Gaming page also references GameSense and Alberta support resources.

Are These Legal Pages Final?

No. The legal pages are detailed platform content only.

Before launch, they must be reviewed and customized by qualified legal, privacy, gaming, payments, security, and responsible gambling professionals.
